First thing I would check is it´s set to the correct locale in the admin. I currently don´t have a joomla site so I can not check where in the admin it´s located. If that is set correct, I would check with the people in the lithuanian section of the joomla forums if someone else have this problem. Since it happened at the old host too I doubt it´s a TCH-related problem.

I think it might be a cache problem, try clearing it and see what happens. On the other hand, a few days ago I saw the "Show posts from ..." dropdown menu on the bottom of the pages. It´s gone now, so maybe that has something to do with it. I will ask Dick.

A Google search shows lots of "how to do´s", Here is one.

You would need to do the following: 1) Submit a ticket with the help desk telling them you want/need to change it. 2) Set the nameservers to the same as for the old domain. Now, you should be good to go after it has propagated which can take up to 72 hours but is usually faster.

My experience is that wordpress has always worked fine on the TCH servers. There is a problem with the auto update feature from version 2.8, but not in the 2.7 branch as they mention. Also, I know that the techs are working on correcting the problem found in 2.8.

Thanks Dick. You got me curious on this since I have this problem but only with one site I visit. I have had this problem for a long long time (since before 3.0, so not a specific 3.5 problem for me), so I checked how my settings were. It turned out that that the setting was already checked and when I unchecked it, all worked fine on the problematic site.

Welcome to the forum, geardrops. I tried the post by mail once with no success. I don´t remember the exact error message it gave me but it was something similar to yours. However, I know there are members here that have gotten this to work, so please hold on and someone will know.

When we staff and mods were told about this change, we were told it was basically a whole new system so I guess it will take time to get used to both the layout and eventually new features, but we will get used to it. We did that with what we today call the "old look". And there are still some tweaks (including smileys) here and there to do, so hold on, it will probably only get better and better.

It will be a nice break from Farm Town for you.

A google search reveals there are lots of people with this problem and two things that shows up often in the suggestions and solutions is and ie, if a computer and an iphone checks the mailbox at the exact same time, this could happen.

Not sure this is a bug or if it´s supposed to do this depending on how the person behind a site has done, but very often when I click a link that is supposed to open in a new tab it opens in a new window instead. all settings in my Firefox says tab so they should open there. It worked fine in 3.0.x.
