  1. You could use sessions that have a timeout on them. That way, if nothing is done in a certain period of time the transaction should be negated and those items go back into the pool.
  2. Open a ticket if you do not have /sqmail.

  5. That......is the 50 thousand dollar question. I do not use Nuke so I can't say for sure but all I did was Google the phrase "phpnuke chat". I am sure there may be others you can find. As to this one, there may be an issue with the server, I don't know.
  6. I have not looked at this but it may do what you are looking for. Just make sure it works with the shared servers here and you should be OK. http://phpnuke.org/modules.php?name=News&f...rticle&sid=7182

  16. Bruce, I agree. At this point, unless you have someone set it up and configure it for the average user, there is no way you can get them to try it. Bob, I agree entirely. I believe it will be a long time before we see anything really give MS a run for their money in the OS side of things. Heck, for the longest time I hated XP and told myself I would never upgrade from Windows 2000. After having to use it at work I found it growing on me. Now I am running the pro version of XP at home. Each OS has its strong points and weaknesses and I use them for those purposes.
  17. Animal (jslagle, I remember that song. Listened to it as a kid.)
  18. Thats Pretty Cool.
  19. Now Bob, you know as well as I do that Windows doesnt always work with everything either. If it did it wouldn't pay our bills. If set to use a graphical desktop environment there is not much to learn and if set up for the end user many Windows programs will run as well. The issue is change. Not how much change but the fact that there is any change. Heck, getting your average user to switch from IE to Firefox is bad enough.
  20. It looks like there is much information submitted by usesr on this page. It may help. http://us2.php.net/features.http-auth
