Bruce you are correct, but what I am talking about is above the STATS column and is titles "Notices" and it says "Welcome to serverxxx" and then disappears. Should this Notices area stay or is it supposed to disappear as it does. Does not leave much time to read whats in there. Just currious. Lee

Another question about the new cPanel. When mine comes up you quickly see the Server Number but then it goes away. It says Welcome to Server XXX then that pane disappears. WHY does it not stay so you can see it?? I know my server number but I think this issue needs to be addressed. A page refreash gives you the quick look as well but it then disappears. Lee

Bruce I have submitted a ticket and they (help desk) say that they can login using my user name and password, but I can't, it just keep saying Invalid Password. Any ideas?????? Thanks Lee

Hi All I just installed phpList with fantastico and this all worked fine, I set up an admin user and password. When I try to login to the admin area it says invalid password. So I said to myself you must have the password wrong so I had phpList send me the password, it was what I thought it was but it does not work. Has anyone else seen this and can you give me some idea where to go to fix this. Lee

I just changed ISP and have gone high speed, now my e-mail address has changed. I know somewhere in Cpanel you enter an e-mail address and it can't be one from your domain, but where is that. I can't seem to remember can anyone help. Lee

Does anyone run a forum (best if it is SMF forum) on a TCH site. What kind of usage are you getting, 100 posts a day or maybe 1000 ?? What kind of disk space is being used for the site and what is the tipical bandwidth used ?? I have a friend that is hosting a site on a provider that I feel is overkill, that TCH can do the job for much less money. He has the feeling that a forum with maybe 100 active users a day will need a dedicated server to handle it. I think he is wrong and that TCH can do the job just fine for much less. Any info would be appreciated. Lee

Here is my problem: 1. I have a subdomain called "lfp" (for Lee's Fishing Page), This is my published web site, in this directory I have a forum (Simple Machines) in a sub directory of "lfp" called "forum". 2. I also have a subdomain called "cms" (for Content Management System) and I have duplicated my site using "phpWebSite" content management software. Can I move the forum directory from "lfp" to "cms" without any problems? Can I then rename "lfp" to "oldlfp" and then rename "cms" to "lfp"?? If someone can give me the steps to make this work it would be great. Thanks Lee

Hi I am hopeful that someone here has used phpWebSite and can help me with my problem. In a wbpage you can add HTML code and I have done this and it works. My problem is can you use Javascripts and PHP code as well in the page sections. When I add say a Javascript to the page and save it, the script is removed from the page section. Do you need to do something special to be able to get Javascripts and PHP to work?? Any help is appreciated. Lee P. S. By the way the softwear is really easy to learn and if I can get my problem solved I will go this route for my next project.

I submitted a ticket and they have not been able to fix the problem. I was also seeing the same problem when I installed "joomla" from Fantastico. So maybe the problem is in the install scripts on Fantastico. If I hear more I will let you know. Thanks Lee P.S. I just installed phpWebSite from Fantastico and when you go to the site there are no icons, just red x boxes. I went into file manager and to the image directory and there seems to be no icons. Does anyone know whats up with this and how to fix it. Thanks Lee P.S. Link to page My Webpage

Hi Betty Go to the image directory in the theme directory you are using: ....../FadedGreen/image/logo.gif The file needs to be named "logo.gif". Not sure if there is a size issue here or not. Hope this helps. Lee
