I was having a bit of fun - I do know that internal temps can create havoc. Are there any other options besides Motherboard Monitor you'd recommend? I'm working toward getting a new system and am often amazed that my 5 year old box has only ever had one major problem. The fan is the one thing I actually worry about and keeping the CPU well ventilated is the number one considertion for me. I've never thought of taking the shell off, I have a cat who is a gold medal class shedder. Then again, I'm not running the space shuttle here, either.

Thumbs Up First thing you have to buy are a couple of good chairs for that fabulous porch - Adirondacks are quite wonderful! There's nothing like sitting on your ow porch in the still of a new morning with a fresh cup of coffee, getting the real news of the day from the birds. I'm so happy for you and your wife! Does it come with a snow blower?

Thank you all for the great input - I have lots to play with now. I'm in the process of completely redoing my website, but with it being the height of summer in the garden and the kick-off to the serious election season, I'm a little plowed under.

This is the script I'm using to insert an image with a colored and/or stylized border via the "Insert HTML" command in CSB (I learned it from Samantha): <img src="^GEMDIR/CrowdShot.jpg" border=3 style="border-color=#6600CC; border-style:inset" > There is an option for "Files Associated With...." that I use to load the .jpg.

Thank you Jim and Don for your response. I really wish there were some decent documentation for Irfan - the only book that's available is in Dutch! Jim - What's frustrating is that I hadn't used Irfan between doing the two essays, so no settings were changed. The only difference between the two were the shooting conditions. The first was a brilliant, sunny day. The second was an overcast, grey day with spotty showers. I had to keep a fill-flash on all the time. I'm wondering if that played some part in this. When I went back and recreated a new set of scaled images and saved them at a higher quality setting of 50, they did fine after publishing. Don - I adjust and crop my images in the Olympus software first, then take a copy to Irfan for scaling and file-size reduction. I've been using the "Insert HTML" feature in CSB so that I can add a border. I load the file from that menu. Is this the same as what you're suggesting? Thanks much for your help! Beth

OK - I've had 4 more show up today from 4 different nics @****, with 4 different subject lines. I haven't opened them to see what they are, but I kept them this time. All of them are in the same vein "I Like You" "ShyGurl", etc. If a ton of this crud is being dumped all over the net with an address that appears as if it's from @**** don't I need to worry about ending up on some spam blacklist? There's alot I don't understand here, obviously. Will they eventually move on to someone else or do I have a permanent parasite? I feel so uuuuuuuused!
