wangs8, Your account should be active withen a few hours, mine was up withen the first hour. Your domain name will take longer, usually no longer than 24 hours. In your welcome E-Mail you will get instructions. You can use the IP address for your site, to upload files untill your domain is up. Info on how to do this will be included in your welcome message.

Another clue, All Packages from TCH, Include Unlimited E-Mail, Subdomains, mySQL Databases. I think someone needs to call this post to Bill, or Mitch's attention when one of them come on. Wouldn't that be violation of copyright/trademark if someone is truely trying to impersonate TCH?

runninghorse, And this was the hosting package invoice? And as to the statement: SecureServer.net is a Reseller page for Wild West Domains, WWD is a Registrar and offer absolutely NO hosting packages. So the problem is somewhere between TCH and your friends method of signup.

runninghorse, Not to say you did not see what your saying you did, there is also a 'hostingchoicetotal.com' company out there. Are you sure you did not end up there somehow? The name looks like they are copycats of TCH, trying to get people to them instead of the real TCH. SecureServers.net is Wild West's Domain Reseller page, all of the companies that sell domains, and are going through WWD's Reseller plan, end up sending you to secureserver.net. So I do not think they sell ANY hosting packages, as they are a domain registrar, and not a host. There has been some talk about more plans to fix the jump of resources between the hosting/reseller/dedicated plans, maybe they where just getting rdy to add the plans to the billing system? I am not sure because I do not work for TCH, but I just thought I would give you alil insight to what I think. A Staff/Mod that knows more about the problem you have, and how it could have been caused should be along shortly. If I have said something wrong here, I am sure they will correct me. Yes, I used the APasswords program for awhile. And it was great, it is very easy to use, and very capable of holding the passwords. I forgot about it after I last reformatted. I also print out all of my invoices / passwords. All of which are kept in a notebook. Hehe, my memory is soo bad, I have my Messengers set to logg all of the conversations I have.

What normally happens in the event that someone loses their username?, The user will need to submit a ticket into the help desk 'Link at the top of forums' The staff member will then ask for some info, such as the last 4 digits of the CC you used on signup, phone number, address. After they are convinced you are the owner, they will get the username for you then give it to you.

lghay, A Domain name comes with the ability to host unlimited subdomains 'you.thatdomain.com' Per the Acceptable use Policy, and Terms of service, you may NOT however point a top-level-domain to that subdomain, basicly you can do: http://something.******/ and point it to a place on your account. Bruce, I have Spam Assasin On, but when I get spam, it justs adds the message to a .txt file, and i still get the actual mail, I want it to just bounce all mail so I never see it lol.

Hello, If I setup a filter to have all mail with the 'From' containing '@totalchoicehosting.com' sent to something@one-of-my-domains.ext Should I be able to setup a filter with the 'From' containing 'sales, invoice, info, billing, anything else' without having the emails such as sales@totalchoicehosting.com bounced because of this filter, by having the other filter that sends all mail from @totalchoicehosting.com to a email for the TCH Mail? And I will just make more filters for any new addresses I want to allow to use those addresses. I do not know if it is just me, but those spammers seem to be getting smart, I got a E-Mail today that was in the following format: From: sales@something.ext To: alan@tinywizard.net Subject: Thanks for your purchase! And the body of the message was just the same ole' same ole' spam.
