did you run mt-load.cgi?
-
you could also whitelist your domain name in the spamassassin config. doing so, will give you a certain amount of padding before a message will hit the spam threshold. the default is 20 or something like that, so any whitelisted domain will receive -20 points and any spam rule hits will be counted against the -20.

the patriots score a td again. the defenses left the building at the end of the second quarter.
-
no one's playing d anymore. patriot td.
-
panther td. now this is a game.
-
this game sucks! 0-0 and the panthers have yet to gain a yard. fumble. patriot td!
-
sack! second 3 and out in a row.
-
The Patriots will dominate. Go Super Bowl commercials!

mt-blacklist and ip banning/throttling won't stop the current wave of comment flooding. i've seen a script with time delays between floods. i've also seen a script that can beat james seng's security code plugin. the bad guys are at least on par with the current methods of fighting comment spamming. they'll probably match anything that comes out to stop them. closing comments after a certain period is a good way to control the threat.

david raynes made a closing comments script.

well, i can't think of any other faster way to import the links. if you wrote a program to parse whatever file you have storing the links and then write to a file ready for porting to mt, it would take longer than manually typing those links in. pace yourself. do 10 a day and you'd be done in 10 days. how are you storing the links presently? as bookmarks in a browser? in a text file?

in your main index template, scroll down until you see add your links here. replace add your links here with the html code to link to other sites.

blogstyles' photoblog tutorial

forget about the resubmitting. you're listed in google, just not for the term squort. you should put Squort.com in a nice header tag. like so, ><h1>Squort.com</h1> i'm pretty sure google likes words in header tags. since the h1 tag is fairly huge and may not match your design, you can control the size of the h1 or any header tag using css.

resubmit your site to google and other engines. heck, i'm in a giving mood. i'll link to your site from my blog. that should help you a bit to get crawled by google. google loves my blog.
-
you should go to the movable type home page and request for a paid installation. however, installing mt yourself is cheaper and will benefit you more in the future when you need to upgrade, install plugins, or apply hacks.
-
yes nope yes, but you're going to have to delete the files with .html extensions. mt doesn't delete. change the extensions in the output file input box of your index templates. also, change the archiving preference in the preferences section of the weblog config. yes

hmm. first question i asked too.
-
when you select rebuild site, choose indexes only.
-
do you get errors when you attempt a rebuild? are permissions for the path and patharc folders set to 777?
-
are you running any firewalls or popup blockers? do you have javascript enabled? what's the url where you want your blog to appear? what's your present local site path? what's the url where you want your archives to be written? what's your present local archive path?
-
take a look at the first three steps listed here.
