I'm amazed and the quality of service provided here by tch. If you were recently on the forum you would have seen that I had requested a perl module to be installed. Althought the reply was a little slow, once I put in a ticket at the help desk I only had to wait a few hours to be able to moblog onto my mt blog ! At first when I started with TCH I was a bit confused with the billion services that catch the eye when u log into cpanel. I'm so happy I was recommened tch (by david rayners on the mt forums) Thanks !!! Rock Sign

I was trying some stuff where I uploaded a pop3-to-MT.pl file onto my server and set a cron to run every minute. I've onw deleted all that rubbish but suddenly my site eems really slow ?? http://www.arvind-satya.com/ I dunno what was wrong but seems to have fixed itself ?

I was just wondering as you hadn't got the perl module Mail::POP3Client installed whether you could install it. I'm not sure how much effort is needed in installing it. I ask because I've discovered that I can post to my movable type blog via email (which means that as my mobile supports mms and i can email mms i can post to my mt blog via my mobile) I've seen that there are many Mt users here and the addition for such a function mite be appreciated by the community here at tch I would definitely appreciate it !

no i've deleted n-case and nothing bad happened. I think its just some ad stuff that's built into software like kazaa ! I wouldn't recommend running many spyware destroyers together as apparently they detect each other as spyware just as you shouldn't install more than one anti-virus system on the same computer

yeh it must be something wrong with those ISPs cos I was in India when I signed up with TCH which means that I was able to access all of their pages !

well why don't u park it on ure main domain that u have ure cpanel on ?

I like the new look but if I don't know if its useful but i read and saw that cpanel can have different themes. Maybe you could install the bluelagoon theme again !

it looks like this code just redirects abc.**** to ****/abc look at this line sorry but that's not what i wanted. I don't want to attempt something before I'm sure that I really want to do it because if that's what the code does then I'm not putting it into my htaccess sorry for the trouble !

thanks rite i'll have a look at the link . Yeah I put that code (form my first post) into my htaccess and everything got screwed. My whole subdomain crashed but was easily fixed by removing that line !

have my blog setup on a subdomain that is accessible by going to http://blog.domain.com, but not http://www.blog.domain.com. However, I would like for users to still be able to type http://www.blog.domain.com and get the blog instead of the friendly 404 page. I was thinking that the best way to do this would be to use mod_rewrite. I searched around the forums and found some threads with code. I modified one snippet, but it didn't work when testing it. >RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^blog\.domain\.com RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://blog.domain.com/$1 [L,R] must be something that I messed up with my code. Does anyone know how I could improve that code or have code that I could use? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't seem 2 get it to work. I've edited it correctly. But when I run the script i get the following error I've no idea what I'm doing wrong ! The file appears in the directory but the file that is sent 2 my email is empty ! Oh Crap I didn't back up my sql table before doing this will it screw it up ?

This is a blog about my personal life in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I try to make the posts consice and interesting giving reviews of movies, books, computer software etc. whenever I encounter something new ! 4. I have made a picture link back to tch is that ok or do i have to have one of your pics/text ? The pic i made was an antipixel one with TCH hosted written on it ! It goes with the rest of my buttons which is why i made it ! 5. I have no idea about my page rank ! But if u search for my name "Arvind" i come up on the first page of google (or i did when I created this thread!)
