I host several Wordpress blogs here at TCH and don't have any loading time issues. Open a ticket with the help desk and maybe they can spot what's causing the slow down.

Not sure it can be done but if you open another ticket and in the subject mark it ATTN: TCH-Dick and see what kind of response you get.

Spam Assassin Set At 1 But Still Getting Tons Of Spam
TCH-Bruce replied to rblunt's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
I use MXGuarddog to filter my email. They do a decent job. -
What application is it? If we can't help you here the help desk should be able to answer your questions.

Thanks Thomas

I like that they auto update these maintenance releases.

Bridget, check out Bill's signature in the first post of this thread. All the ways to contact him are listed in it.

Glad it's working out for you.

Like Thomas, I use the Firefox plugin but if you want a good free FTP client check out WS_FTP LE

Google Apps Standard Edition (formerly known as "Google Apps for Your Domain") can host your personal email at Gmail, but without tying you to a gmail.com address for free. Obviously you'll need a domain to use this service, which will cost something to register. When you sign up for a Google Apps account, you'll have to set your domain name's email MX record to point to Google's servers (you'll get instructions on how to do that when you sign up). Once that's done, you've got Gmail behind your personalized domain name. Not sure how you would import your folders though. Maybe if you sign up they may have some instruction.

Wordpress as well as Joomla use themes. There are many resources out there to find a theme you like. There are even some sites that will design a theme just for your site, for a fee of course.

Guess that's why I am not having any issues with it. I'm using it on business accounts and there are no mailing list emails being delivered.
-
You could always white list them. I didn't find the false positive rate that high. Less than 2% for my domains.

I manage a couple of websites. What I did was put it in the footer of each site and I'm managing 45 email addresses and not paying a thing for the service.

You are sent a digest and can check online all messages they block. If you happen to find one that didn't come in you can release it and immediately white list it. I've had to do it with a few messages but in 3 months I think only 4 had to be white listed.

Merry Christmas Thomas and all the TCH family.

I was getting so much spam I signed up with MXGuarddog and it is doing a wonderful job. It's free if you have a couple of websites you can post one of their links to. You don't have to change any of your emails just your MX record.

Raul, Merry Christmas buddy!

How To Automatically Delete Emails
TCH-Bruce replied to DigitalChick's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Not knowing what email program you are using to read your message there should be some option to leave email on the server for x number of days. Turn the option on and tell it how many days you wish to keep messages. -
Thanks Thomas, mine updated automatically!
