Welcome to the forums witchin. Have you added any new software or new router to your home system?
-
Well, thanks David. I don't have time to redesign the site now anyway so I will wait and see if it does.
-
No problem. If you could we were wondering how.
-
Are you looking at the products page and the inside scroll works for you in FF? You can scroll the content of the products page from top to bottom with the wheel of your mouse?
-
Yeah, what version? I've tried it on 1.0PR, 1.0 and 1.0.1 and it won't scroll. I don't think it did all the way back to .8.
-
Tim, yeah it does the same thing for me in Firefox. Haven't been able to figure out why. I may just redesign the whole site again when I get some time.
-
Glad I could help.

What is the cron job you are running?

Yes, you should be able to just upload the tar or zip file to your site and then with File Manager in cPanel extract it.
-
Hi Ed. That would be 8MB for the TCH servers.

If you create an FTP user and assign them to a folder in your domain that is the only folder within your domain they can access with that FTP account. Of course they could create subfolders. What you are wanting to do having a script create a subdomain I doubt will be possible since it has to update DNS records. The only way I know to successfully create a subdomain is using cPanel itself. And if your script creates a folder then the ownership of the folder will most lilkely be "nobody".

Thanks for the info Thomas. -
Welcome to the forums, designmc. There are still no plans that I know of to install it
-
Goes to show, there's more than one way to do things.
-
Hi Marty and welcome to the forums. I suppose that would work. I was/am new to PHP as well. But is sounds like it would work correctly.
-
That would be against the AUP.
-
Welcome to the forums, John. Yes you can. When you purchase the hosting you are required to enter the domain name you will be using so just enter your current domain name there. Your welcome email will contain information and an IP address to access your site to set it up and test. Once it's working you can either transfer the domain here or you can change the domain name servers it is pointing to and you'll be able to access your site using your domain name.

Suspend Account Because Of Script Version?
TCH-Bruce replied to Ayman's topic in Security Discussions
Ayman, your site won't get suspended unless it causes problems with the server. It is your responsibility to be sure the scripts you are running are secure. While TCH doesn't go scanning for old scripts now doesn't mean that it won't in the future. Hope that answers your question. -
noeffort, if you installed phpBB from cPanel you may want to make sure you upgrade it to version 2.0.13. You can find the patches at www.phpbb.com.

Advice Please: Setting Up And Using Subdomains
TCH-Bruce replied to haejin's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
It's always nice to to watch people talk to themselves. Glad you sorted it out. -
I don't know what the limit is, but since you have to open a help desk ticket to have it done you could ask there and I am sure they will tell you.
