  1. You can open a help desk ticket (link above) to support and ask them to reset your account back to it's original configuration with that one folder being the exception or you can delete everything in the public_html folder including the .htaccess file (unless you are using what is currently in it) if you want. When you install WordPress you can create a new .htaccess file.

  5. Glad you got it working. Never would have guessed a modem problem.

  7. Welcome to the forums, Patricia. Sorry, I have no advice for a chat script either.
  8. Way to go Tommy!
  9. I would look at Coppermine or Gallery. Both are PHP based and run fine on the servers here.
  10. I'm not sure which plan you are currently on but the Windows servers are dedicated servers and priced differently as you are the only user on the machine. To request to purchase a dedicated server and have your account transferred you will need to open a Help Desk ticket (link above) to support.
  11. April, your disk space available is displayed in your cPanel. It's on the left hand sidebar.
  12. If you are working on the domain listed in your profile you are on server 79 which is a Linux server. TotalChoice has just started offering Windows servers and they are dedicated servers.
  13. The configuration variable for the host would just be be 'localhost' without the quotes. It's not an address.
  14. Are you trying to make the .asp pages work here on the TCH servers? If so, that's not going to work if your site is on a Linux server.
  15. Click on Photos just to the left of Members in the upper right.
  16. You will need the information from your Welcome Email to login to your account. You must have been able to login to your cPanel to install Invision.
  17. Hi nevermore and welcome to the forums Using a script like cpanelmail which is on our banned scripts list is susceptible to allowing spam which would be a violation of the AUP You will have to create your email accounts through cPanel.
  18. You may be able to go to www.grc.com and run a port scan on your machine and see if it's blocked.
  19. Welcome to the forums toolh3
  20. This is going to be difficult to solve. I am assuming it's just cPanel you are having problems logging into. Have you tried http://cpanelproxy.net/ that was mentioned previously in this thread? It is supposed to allow you to access cPanel over port 80 instead of port 2082.
  21. cPanel transfers are still possible. But it only works if allowed from your current host. The help desk can confirm. The switch shouldn't matter when you make it. Mail will need to be checked at both the old and new locations for a while after the transfer and DNS changes have been made. It will take a while for all the DNS servers to update. You can use IP addresses for the email checks until it's all coming in on the TCH server. There should be no email loss.
  22. Sorry Dave, I only know how to access the logs through cPanel. Maybe someone else has some ideas.
  23. Welcome to the forums Patrick The mods don't have access to the servers. The Help Desk (link above)would be able to answer your question. I do know that you can install your own copy of Horde in your account.
  24. gdidly, have you opened a help desk ticket with support?
