Can you post a screen capture of what you are seeing (provided it doesn't break the forum rules) and what it should look like along with an address to the page so we can tell you what we see?

Well, if you are receiving a cached page then maybe your ISP is caching your site. Does your friend use the same ISP as you do?

Are you also accessing the database as cpanelname_database?

Welcome to the forums. The link to purchase a domain name appears not to be working. There are over 100 servers. The help desk and this forum are on their own servers. So if there was a problem with the server you were hosted on (not very likely) you would be able to report it. The help desk is the primary and requested method to resolve support issues and is manned 24/7.

You can do it through cpanel. Go into Redirects. Leave the first box blank and enter the path to where you want it to go. Select permanent if that is your intention.

You will need to use some sort of redirect either by modifying your .htaccess (or creating one) or creating an index page where they can click a link and put a META tag in to send them to the forum. Sorry I am terrible with MOD Rewrite statements. I'm sure someone will offer a suggestion. Hang in there.

Welcome to the forums. If you own your domain name you can purchase a hosting plan here and then move your content over. If your current host uses cPanel the techs may be able to move the site for you. Once you put your content up on the TCH servers you change your domain's DNS servers to point to the IP address given to you in the welcome email when you sign up. If you don't have a domain name, you can purchase one through TCH or any valid registrar.
