Hi Sheryl, I am accessing your site fine from Ohio. Yes, the timeouts would be the problem, but you are getting them from the first hop on. And the first couple hops are your internet providers.

I'm still not convinced. I will stick with recommending NVU in place of FrontPage.

I would create new folders not associated with the account you are switching in your email client and move them there. When you switch to IMAP it will read the folders on the server.

I would NOT use FrontPage. I would use a free progam called NVU.

Please open a ticket with the help desk. You should be able to access it either way unless there is somthing strange in your .htaccess file.

Is the folder you are uploading to set with the correct permissions? Usually 777 since it's a PHP script.

Glad I could help. Odd that Nvu would have the same issue as the cPanel HTML editor. I have not heard anyone else say this about Nvu.

I would recommend using something else to edit your html files. The HTML editor in cPanel is buggy. If you are looking for a WYSIWYG editor then I would suggest that you try Nvu which is a free open source HTML editing software. To remove those characters you can use File Manager in cPanel using the edit file function.

When you enter the configuration information it must be like this. host="localhost"; dbuser="cpanelname_dbuser; password="password"; dbname=cpanelname_dbname"; I don't know what variable names your script is using but the parts to the right of the equal sign is how they are to be entered.

Josh is correct. Enter it as cpaneluser_dbname for the password do not preface the password. For the user it's cpaneluser_dbuser.
