Welcome to the forums Kimber You first need to authenticate yourself before you can send email. If you Internet provider is blocking access to port 25 you can try to use port 26. If both of those fail you will have to use your ISP's outgoing mail server. By authenticate I mean you have to log in to send email. Use your email address and password to login.

Your forum folder was set with permissions of 644 when they should have been set at 755. I have changed them for you.

Does the directory exist? Did you create it first? If it does exist and you cannot access it you will have to open a ticket with the help desk.

You can modify your file and folder permissions with File Manager or and FTP client. To change ownership of the files you would need to open a ticket with the help desk. As for installing modules or extensions, you should also be able to do those with File Manager or and FTP client unless they are server wide extensions which you would have to ask the help desk if they would be able to install them.

You can create folders in your web space with the File Manager in cPanel or any FTP program. Where to create the folder and what to call it I cannot help with, sorry.

I've checked the plugins known to work with 2.1 and all the ones I use seem to be listed there. I will be testing to be sure before I make the switch. Did the same when 2.0 first released. I had to wait a while before all the plugins caught up or I decided I didn't need them or found replacements.

When you go into cPanel it should show you the server you are on. Or you can run a tracert on your domain and it will tell you what server you are on.

With prices as low as they are it would not be cost effective. Sorry, no there is no affiliate or referral program. A solution to the referral program would be so sign up as a reseller and sell space to the people you are referring. But it would be your responsiblity if they had problems as you would be the one supporting them and not TCH.

I am happy the way email works here. I've had my business account here for almost 4 years now. With the amount of spam the servers deal with on a day-to-day basis if they started bouncing every email message I don't think I'd ever receive any email because of the server being bogged down sending all the bounced messages. I have several other domains but I answered from a business customer standpoint.

I was able to see them over the weekend on my Road Runner account and I can see them now on my SBC DSL account from work. It's a propagation issue and as Don said if you are still unable to see them contact your ISP and ask if they can refresh their name servers. Or better yet, change the name servers you are using from your ISP to the OpenDNS servers.

Since scripts are our responsibility to keep updated I will update my WP installations when it's available.

That would be a server related question and a quick ticket to the help desk will tell you for sure.

I've been all through my admin panel and can't see anywhere you can set a link to your feeds. So I'm not sure how your links are being created. WP does the link by default. Unless you've added a plugin that is causing this. Or maybe it's something in your .htaccess file causing it.
