I'm sorry you are having difficulties with one of your posts. Have you gone in to edit that post? While you are editing there should be a delete function (at least there is in WordPress). Can you set the post to not allow comments? Have you tried the MT forums?

No he shouldn't have to use phpAdmin to remove it. He needs to delete it from within MT and rebuild the site.

A few days ago the PM system was deleted due to someone abusing the system. Many of the members complained that they lost their PM messages. Today the PM system has been restored back to April 1st. If there are messages that you had previously deleted you will have to delete them again. Any messages from the 2nd to today have been lost and cannot be recovered. Such is life. Now, if you have something you are saving in your private messages that you want to keep for goodness sake copy it off and save it on your own computer. We are going to implement a purging of the older messages, not sure how long they will be kept. This is a warning. Don't come complaining when messages get deleted due to the age of them. Copy them to your own computer if you really want them saved. And if in the future someone is being harrassed or solicited via the PM system let a moderator or staff know so the user will be dealt with.

Being a software developer myself it pisses me off when people try to get around licensing agreements. You do not own the software EVER! You buy a license to use it. If you don't like the terms of the license then don't buy it. As Mike said, just because you can doesn't make it right. Now that I've said that, I think Microsoft trys to suck every dollar they can from you. I don't agree with it and think all they need to do is drop the price to something reasonable and people would quit trying to get around it. I think $50 a copy is reasonable. Think of how many copies they would sell.

You should install Wordpress and then import your database.
