Download Foxit Reader and abandon Adobe and all it's plugins.

There are several programs you can use to clean up your machine. Some that come to mind are. CCleaner Glary Utilities Duplicate File Finder Those are just a few of what's available. Do a Google search for PC cleanup utilities I'm sure you will find others.
