  2. From your first post it looks like you are already running Joomla in the root is that correct?
  3. I would expect as both scripts are bound to have some of their files with the same names you can not install more than one in the root.

  7. I generally extract to a folder of the same name I want to use on the server then make my edits and zip up the folder. Upload to public_html and extract so the folder structure is kept intact. The desktop is a folder in windows and not a safe place to keep files.

  12. I would like to know why you can't upload the zip file and extract? That is the most efficient way. What cart is it? The desktop is not a good place to put files.

    notetab is a handy HTML editor. opens files with a simple tabbed interface, will also replace windows notepad.
  14. Which site are you refering to? The css menus look the same in FF and IE for me.

  18. As I see it you need to give access to the remote site in your cpanel > MySQL Databases, I did find a post by TCH-David that may help.
  19. It does seem that some use flash because they can even though it serves no real purpose for them.
