  1. Another option: If you are using Dreamweaver MX or MX2004, and Fireworks, try the Web Photo Album 2.2 extension. The Macromedia exchange has it there as a free download. I found it to be very useful, and not hard to customize to fit the look you need.

  4. Wow, thanks for pointing out my near error on the hidden text in the background idea. And yes, I do now understand what you were instructing me to do. I'm going to make the additions asap. Thanks so much for help, I really appreciate the education. Have a great day Ray
  5. Thanks Scott, I understand about creating links to the index page, and I plan to do that, but I'm not sure how to create the extra text you mentioned. Do you mean to place additional Meta tags after those nav. buttons, like the tags at the beginning of the page? Placing another "header" in that location is what kind of stumped me. I'm I thinking about this in the wrong way? I suppose I could also type some text the same color as the background in the area, or do the spiders ignore that? I really appreciate the input. Ray

  7. Thanks guys, You're right, I must have been only clicking on the text and not the file icon. Also, I found I should be going to the WWW folder to see my site files and not public_html, even though I uploaded the site to the public_html folder. Now I know, thanks again, Ray
  8. I must be missing something... When I go to my File manager in my Cpanel, I can't open any files. For instance, I see my public_html file, I click on it to view the contents, but the file doesn't open, I do see the choices on the right side (delete file, change permissions, etc.)and it seems to go to another level, but public_html contents/files are not visible. I do have my web site in the public-html folder which I uploaded using an FTP program, and the site is up and running. I could not find anything in the Cpanel instructions to explain this, or to tell me any mistakes I may be making. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance, Ray
  9. If I rename the Formmail.pl script to a something obscure, such as Boogie3.cgi or processor.cgi, wouldn't that hide the script from these spammers that are looking for Formmail.pl or Formmail.cgi? Do these people have the ability to see through the diguise? Please don't riducule me if this is a silly suggestion, Ray
  10. Support referred me to read these posts for the Formmail issue. My reason for submitting a support ticket is because I do not have Cgiemail in my cgi-bin. The only script there is the one I put there when I first loaded my site. (that script is a formmail variation that I had renamed for security, it was working fine before it was deactivated by TCH) Can somebody tell me where to look for Cgiemail, my Cpanel shows that it is loaded, but I cannot access it this way. Whoever answered my support ticket didn't seem to read my question nor know if this forum could answer it....frustrating! Thank you in advance for any help, Ray www.brotherhoodmusic.com
