Any comments on the new help desk thats in place? I think the gurus of tech support do a great job, and I believe that the new help desk has made them shine even brighter. GO SUPPORT!

There is some confusion from new customers. Customers publishing via Frontpage complain that once they publish they still see the TotalChoice Welcome Index page. When TotalChoice creates a new account our system will install a default index.html page. This is the "Welcome to your new web site" page. Now here is the issue. Frontpage's homepage is index.htm, so when customers upload using frontpage the default index.html file is not deleted. Therefore, the customer can not see the upload Frontpage site. To fix this simply delete the index.html page and the issue is fixed.

JM - It was a pleasure talking to you on the phone. Although, I hate the invention. Phones....Yuck! Oh, well one good thing about the phone lines, they carry my DSL signal! Ok for dedicated IP's you need to email our sales gurus. In your email make sure you indicate the reason for needing a dedicated IP address. The cost is $16.00 per year, per IP address. The sales gurus will then email you back with the required information. Thats it!

Ok here is what we are doing - Help Desk Upgrade - Migrating to a new help desk. Discussion Forum Upgrade - Upgrading to different discussion forum. This was really caused by a issue with a corrupt database, so while we were looking at this we decided to take the plunge. So we have moved to Invision Board. Server Upgrades - If your IP ends in .188 or .200 your server has been upgraded. We doubled the amount of RAM. New Servers - Lots of clients are moving to our new servers. This is a seamless move for customers and will help us ballance the load. The new servers are online and running. This was completed 10/05/2002 More Hosting Plans - We added a new hosting plan to the lineup. The Starter plan is now an option. Also we increased the plan benefits for some plans. Don't worry if you were on a plan that was effected you were upgraded to the higher levels FREE OF CHARGE. Cpanel Theme Updates - There appeared to be some bugs in the new cpanel theme "vertex". All accounts have been moved to "bluelagon". Server Status Pages - These are in progress, sometime soon. Thats all for now!
