All of our servers are Intel Based Systems. All utilize We have a couple different configurations available. Intel Pentium4 1.6GHz 512MB Ram 7200 RPM IDE Hard Drives Intel Pentium4 2.0GHz 1024 MB RAM 7200 RPM Hard Drive Red Hat Linux 7.2 Cpanel 5 Our Datacenter Center utilizes ONLY top name brand hardware. The facility is centered on a Cisco™ 12008 Core Router, with Cisco™ 7200 Series Routers serving as border routers, connecting via Gigabit Ethernet to the Hewlett Packard™ Procurve™ 4108GL primary switches. Hewlett Packard™ Procurve™ managed switches comprise the power and stability of the network, operating at 100mbps switched ethernet speeds. The Network Operations Center is connected via OC192 fiber connections to Verizon™ & Commonwealth Telephone (CTSI), as well as 2GBPS+ fiber from PPL Telcom™, ***** utilizes Sprint™ & AT&T™ OC3 (155mbps) connections, as well as a MCI/Worldcom™ DS3 (45mbps) connection, with also a Cogent™ 100MBPS Metro Fast Ethernet drop. For redundancy, ***** is currently running BGP4 (border gateway routing protocol) to maintain the speed and uptime. If one backbone line goes down, it will balance the load to the other(s). If one line gets congested, it will load balance the traffic. ***** is currently negotiating with major backbone providers to open POPs (Points of Presence) in the ***** facility. This will increase speeds tremendously due to on-site peering arrangements. Such would allow fiber connections directly to major US peering points/hubs.

Technical Support will not provide support related to the use of your FrontPage software.

For information about FrontPage error messages, as well as basic information on publishing a Web site using FrontPage, go to P2000: FrontPage 2000 Publishing Resource Center.

Because of conflicts with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, Totalchoice's shared SSL certificates are incompatible with FrontPage server extensions. As a result, you will not be able to use the FrontPage form handler and execute the form submission using Totalchoice's shared SSL certificate. Sorry

The following steps were created using FrontPage 2002. Depending on the version you are using, the steps may be different. 1. Open a browser window. 2. From the Start menu, select Programs, click Microsoft FrontPage. 3. From the File menu, click Open. 4. Navigate to, and select the file to be opened, click Open. Your Web file will open in FrontPage. 5. From the File menu, click Publish Web. 6. From the Publish Web dialog box, in the Specify the location to publish your web to box, enter the domain name of the site into which you want to publish your Web pages, click Publish. 7. If you are updating an existing Web page, click to expand Options, then click to select Publish changed pages only. 8. From the Name and Password Required dialog box, enter your Name and Password 9. Click OK. You will see a series of windows indicating that FrontPage is publishing the selected Web files When you receive the message Web site published successfully, click Done. Alternatively, click Click here to view your published web site to open your Web site.

Totalchoicehosting.com does not recommend making modifications to the .htaccess file if you have Frontpage installed. Any modifications to your .htaccess file can corrupt your extensions and render your Web site inaccessible. A backup copy of your .htaccess file should be made before modifying this file.

If you need to block an IP address from accessing a directory on your site, place the following into an .htaccess file located in the directory you wish to block their access from: Order Allow,Deny Allow from all Deny from 111.111.111.111 Replace 111.111.111.111 with the IP you wish to block. If you need to block more than one ip: Order Allow,Deny Allow from all Deny from 111.111.111.111 Deny from 222.222.222.222 or: Order Allow,Deny Allow from all Deny from 111.111.111.111 222.222.222.222 If you wish to deny access to an entire block of IPs, only give a portion of the IP: Order Allow,Deny Allow from all Deny from 111.111 __________________

Frank, The FTP protocol is much easier on server loads than loading the ensim email server. When sending email attachments the worry is always the other side. What size is the receiver allowed to get. Vice Versa, when you are getting attachments its the same boat. The person on the other end is limited in what they can send. The ISP limits them or the hosting co. does. It just makes much more sense to send files via FTP. If FTP is an issue you can always just let them download from the HTTP side of your account. Always many ways to skin that cat eh frank? This board is new only a couple weeks old in fact. Feel free to ask as many ?'s as you like.
