Hiya, brand new here.

I've been trying to install Gallery through the use of your tutorial.. as well as Gallery's docs. The name servers aren't working yet so I've been using my IP address. When I try to access the configuration utility (http://my.ip/gallery) I get a 404. I know everything is there and have followed the instructions to the letter.. at least I'm pretty sure I have. The IP address is correct, I don't get a 404 until I add /gallery. No typos, I've checked that numerous times. Any ideas?

It's in the welcome message from TCH, just a matter of remembering the format. From WHM you can see it, before propogation, by hovering over the users account in the account listings, I believe. =)

What area is the gallery found in the cpanel?

Oh! Gallery is not one of the scripts that is available for automatic installation via cpanel (at least, it's not on my cpanel!). You would need to install that one yourself. =)

Oh, and this is where you can find Gallery.

Why didnt I read the TCH tutorial before ;)

I was attempting to run gallery w/o securing it.

Gallery is so hard to configure!

I played a lot with the css and albums.php to make it look better.

Photos are nice too ;)

Hey Don!

I was wondering, I have something to suggest that they add to the installation instructions.

Do they ever mind feedback on stuff like that?

And you will find detailed instructions on

TotalChoiceHosting help site.

If you print out the detailed part,

it will give you a nice check list to follow.

Don.. I just wanted you to know that this is my favourite thread on the forum!

LOL!

I keep forgetting to bookmark that help page and have to come here to get the link.

I have almost got to a point I can install the gallery without help from that page.

Amazing eh? :(

Thanks again for all of your help!
