OpiumTrail Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Hello! I've been using the NeoMail web mail interface for a little while, but it seems to be very buggy and has a habit of trashing my messages whenever I try to move them into a new folder. Consequently, I've decided to try using a different web mail program such as Horde. Unfortunately, it doesn't want to read my inbox and I don't know how to configure it to pick up my mail. Does anybody have any experience configuring this interface? Thanks, Richard. Quote
Virtual Imager Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 I had a similair problem... I'll try to help if you don't mind a very non-technical response. I'm not a computer geek or anything... but I can tell you what I discovered when I started using Horde. Go into your cPanel under E-Mail and click on Manage Accounts. I found that TCH had set up a main account for me and then I added my regular email account (myname@****). When I went into Horde, it only wanted to check the main account. You have to enter your username and password for the other account if you want to check it. In my case the username was myname+****. Then when I entered my password for that email account, Horde found my complete inbox. Hope this helps. Quote
OpiumTrail Posted February 5, 2004 Author Posted February 5, 2004 Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I've already tried that and it doesn't seem to work. Richard. Quote
Alan Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Hey OpiumTrail, first off, I do not work for TCH, but I think I can help you, Try entering your site as the following: http://******/webmail Login: You@****** Password: "The one you created when you setup the email account. then it should take you to the page to choose your eMail Client, then click horde, or whatever you want to use, and it should take you to that mailbox. OpiumTrail Posted February 5, 2004 Author Posted February 5, 2004 I've tried all these. I can successfully send mail from the Horde interface but I cannot read any incoming mail. Does anybody know where Horde saves its settings? Quote
