I am going to buy web hosting here I am just wondering what kind of space I should get initially.

I am building a PHP enabled Personal website that will me by space to build my applications and work on other Personal tasks. I am wondering if the “Starter Plan” is a good place to start or do I need to start with the “Silver Plan”?

What is your opinion on this?

Thanks to all…

If you are not expecting a large amount of traffic on your site I would start with the lower priced plan...you can always upgrade to silver...the 5.5 gigs of transfer is quite a lot...you can always go silver when traffic increases. It is very easy to monitor usage through the Cpanel...

Right, the plans are the same and 5.5 transfer is a lot. I have the starter plan for my personal site and I have music files there and it's been no problem.

Yes, easy to monitor and easy to upgrade if / when needed.

I have the starter plan myself. I will come close to the alloted space amount I think within the next few weeks but the bandwidth is more than enough at the present time. You would be surprised at how far 5.5 gigs will go.

Since it is for personal tasks and not so much to have a million visitors you should be fine with the starter.

Thanks to you all. I have bought my domain. And will be buying the space here the week of the 10th. I think this is going to be a great place to stay around for a while... :D
