This datacenter is a true world class facilty. Internap’s Intelligent Routing “Intelligent Routing” is a patent-pending technology that selects the best path out of nine backbones to deliver your data quickly and reliably. This innovative technology avoids all problem areas and routing gridlocks, judiciously selecting the least congested conduit. Many internet access providers send data along a random path, or the cheapest path, sometimes sending data far out of the way during its travels to the end user. “Intelligent Routing” eliminates the guesswork and the congestion of cheaper networks, focusing on getting your data from point A to point B along the quickest possible route. You will find your website will deliver information more reliably and smoothly as a result. Our cage was provisioned last week and equipment was shipped out last week. Our first server was turned up last night and is alive and running. We will have a 100mbps pipe into our cage. Using the following bgp4 routed providers; UUNet Sprint Cable & Wireless AT&T Genuity/GTE Global Crossing Qwest (XO Currently being added to replace Qwest) Verio Level 3 With all this said, I am unsure what plans will be eligible for this datacenter. This type of connection comes at a high cost. As we roll along and complete our "turn up testing" I will be talking more about this faclity. Just another reason why TCH is a TotalChoice!

This is a great addition to TCH for those who need or want that kind of service. You'd better buy a bunch of servers for it because I have a feeling this is going to be a very popular set of service plans!

Just a suggestion, since it seems this thread might be a good place to make it: How about making some high-bandwidth plans? For instance, I have the deluxe plan, and a sample plan could be like "Ultra Deluxe" that gets 150% or so of the regular bandwidth?? Maybe? Just trying to get out ideas for this awesome new data center...
seaturtlerun Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 I'd like to second the notion or much rather the suggestion of higher bandwith accounts. Is this ultimately the general idea for these new servers? I hope so because I'd be interested in purchasing such a plan. I love your service and especially the amount of communication within this community. I'm fairly new here and I like what I see. I'd be more interested in moving larger accounts here if more bandwith is the case. Thanx, Rob
