Lianna Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Is the TCH guys able to put the Invision into my phpNuke. What specifically do you mean? Quote
dieguy Posted November 23, 2003 Author Posted November 23, 2003 phpNuke has a forum in it called splat. I was wondering if I can get my invision or phpBB put in instead. Quote
TCH-Rick Posted November 23, 2003 Posted November 23, 2003 You would need to check with PHPNuke or in a forum dedicated to using PHPNuke for more information. There are plug-ins for PhpNuke to add these types of functions. That is not something we can do as a part of tech support. There may be users in the forums that have done so and can help. I would check in some PhpNuke forums as well, though, as they are dedicated to that application. Quote
TCH-Dick Posted November 23, 2003 Posted November 23, 2003 What version of PHP-Nuke are you using. Get the latest version, it has phpbb installed. PHP-Nuke 6.9 Quote

dieguy Posted November 25, 2003 Author Posted November 25, 2003 Can some one tell me how I make some one a moderator of my invision board. If I change what the admins can doo does that change it for me. Rock Sign Quote
TCH-Don Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 (edited) You should create a new group called moderators rather than give anyone else admin powers. To create a moderator group Log into your Admin, goto users and groups manage user groups Add a new member group based on admin click set up new group change title to moderator in the window for Online List Format [Prefix] you can add the style and in the Online List Format [suffix] you can add this will list your mods in red then select the Global Permissions for your mods and check the Posting Permissions and in Moderation Permissions you should dissable Can access the Admin CP? then at the bottom click Add Group and select ok to the security check. Then to promote a user to a mod goto find edit user type in name edit details select the member group of moderator add a title like forum moderator then at the bottom select edit this member. And there you are. Edited November 25, 2003 by TCH-Don Quote
