does anyone have the same troubles? TCH is perfect apart from this problem which is quite annoying, namely that the email notification by this board is just not working. it would be highly useful if i could get email notifications on my server issues or announcements on upgrades, or just replies to my posts - i am not getting anything despite being subscribed.

 

if this problem is not fixable, then, though a pain in the ... it might be, why not switch to a better board that works?

A little history might help....

 

Once upon a time, we'd discovered that if, when you close your browser window from this forum, you are not really logged off! You must logoff using the Log Out link in order for you to receive your subscription notices.

I jsut checked something and I would suggest you change your email address your using on the forums.

 

Your using a email account hosted by TCH. If your server does go down and we post a announcement in the forums you will never get it.

I have tested and retested the notifications, at first i wasnt getting them but now i am, i got the notification for your reply to this topic
