Elendil Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 Well, I have never before signed up with a company for paid hosting....so I just have a few questions. First off, I want to register a domain name, but I would like to do it somewhere else besides TCH. Do I have to pay anything to use it through TCH since I didn't register it through them? Or when signing up, just put that name in the form and everything will work right? Sorry for the stupid questions....I am new to all this. Nikki Quote

On the sign up form it will ask for the domain name, then on the next step there is an option that says something like "I own this domain and will transfer it myself" select that option and finish the sign up, then all you need to do is go to where you registered the domain name, log in and change the DNS setting to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com Quote
