Hello, everyone.

I am new to Total Choice Hosting, have had my site on the tripod freebie for a while (www.boulderhealers.net). I finally uploaded my site and everything is in place, but when I call up my web address - Boulder Healing Arts Association, I get the following page:

Index of /

Name                    Last modified      Size  Description

I've been following the posts here, trying to find similar problems, but did not find any index.html. I did find index.htm which was my home page. Changed that to index.html but still get the above response. Also, when I go into my file manager, the only information available is my home page (without graphics). Even though all my other files are on there, when I try to view them there is no text available.

When I try to go into the _private/ (above), it asks for my logon id, and then denies access with a 404 error page.

Please what to do? I use Trellix Web 2.7 PA version.

Thank you so much.

Love and light, Angela.

It doesn't look like you got your files uploaded into the correct directory. Did you upload everything from your old site into the public_html or www directories? If you go into the Cpanel and choose the file manager you can see if the index.html file is there. Everything has to be in the public_html directory to be seen on the internet. I'm sure one of the gurus can help you more if you have problems figuring it out.

Angela, you can check your publish settings at

KW Support for CSB.

And there you will see

Note: it will be necessary to first manually delete the default index.html file that TotalChoiceHosting places in your web directory.  You may do this by going to http://******/cPanel

In the Cpanel click on the file manager above.

Find the folder for public_html and click on the folder icon.

Find the index.html and click on the name, select Delete File on the right.

Hope this helps.

By the way, for those of you unfamiliar with the history, Trellix Web 2.7 PA (Publish Anywhere) is the immediate predecessor to CuteSITE Builder 3.0.

It has the same publishing functions and settings as those for CuteSITE Builder (CSB). Really, except that the owner has changed and a little cleanup being done on the interface, it's the same app.

Resources: the best of the best at KW's Site

Angela, any other questions that you have about Trellix Web PA, you can post in the CuteSITE Builder and CuteFTP forum here. Just please be specific that you are using TWPA, ok?

Welcome to your new home!

Thank you all for your help. I am now up and running. I didn't originally put the directory name in, so that is probably what caused my main problem. And I learned from another thread about taking care of the index.html page. One of the deciding factors in my choosing TCH to host my site was this forum, and the help available. I've also been reading the info on the Cutesite/Trellix forum and on KW's site. Have used several of his suggestions and really appreciate Lianna's input, too. *Another reason to be here* Thanks again. And for making me feel welcome, too.

Love and light, Angela.
