Whenever I send email via squirrelmail, the page simply hangs. My browser shows that it is send, but nothing is sent. I am forced to check the 'sent' folder whether the message was delivered or not.

Today I checked for 15 times, and still the email was not delivered. I clicked 'send button' 15 times but not even once was the email sent.

Please help. Server 23

Also, sqmail is very very slow. The only day it was faster was the day it was introduced. After that day, it has sucked a lot of my blood.

Are you guys putting more than enough clients on my email server, that my site is using? How many clients have you put on the email server I am using?

I have no problem accessing Yahoo, Hotmail, or any other site. None of these other sites hang like squirrelmail.

And what in the hell have you done to your site > TCH? It simply keeps keeps on refreshing in my browser. Even now, while I am writing, it is continuously refreshing and troubling me. Why are you using these refreshing scripts?

Hi K_M,

Can you start a support ticket, and we'll have a look at things for you.

Do you get the same problem with Horde or Neomail? is it just sqmail?

What TCH pages are you getting a repeated refresh on? I've just checked the main pages, and I am not getting a refresh - is anyone else?

The server reporting status pages have a refresh on, otherwise we couldn't maintain a constantly updated set of status reports.

Nothing has changed on the pages. The only page we use a refresh script on is our server status page, and that page will refresh every 60 seconds for obvious reasons. Its apparent you have a browser problem.

Now on to SqMail.

Submit a ticket and we can look at the issue.

We don't over sell servers, when is the last time server23 was down? It hasn't been expect for a reboot when we upgraded kernels. If the server was oversold you would know it everday. Pages would load slow, in general the server would suck. I just ran thru server23 and it is fast and responsive.

We don't run a 'mail server' independent from your main server. Server23 is the mail server. Now with that said you need a good understanding of why sqmail can get slow. If the login your using is ******/sqmail then here is why at times it can be slower than normal. It runs over port 80, so it will run along side all the web site traffic in and out of the server. It uses IMAP. So if a lot of sites are checking sqmail it will slow down.

Best thing to do is submit a help desk ticket and we can look at the issue.
