How Do I Close My Tch Account?

I want my account closed but I don't see where to close it.

 

Will someone please tell me how to close my account?

 

TCH is great! It's just that I don't understand how to do any of this and can't see the point in paying for a service I don't understand how to use.

 

Okay, I'd like to know soon.

As you can see by the date on this thread I originally asked how to close my TCH account days ago. I received a reply on this thread and followed those instructions. After contacting the above link requesting that my account be closed I received another email:

If you wish to cancel your TCH account, you will need to send an email to: cancellations@totalchoicehosting.com and include in the email:

Your domain name

Your username and password

First and last name of the Account holder

So, I resent my information again to this link and haven't heard anything back from anyone. However, I was billed today. I should NOT have been billed.

 

I want my account closed and I want the charge reversed.

PS-Anyone reading this I'm closing my account because I do not know how to use the services offered and NOT because there is anything wrong with TCH. I have always found this to be an excellent site. I'm also confident that the billing error will be corrected promptly. TCH is great!

Please be advised of the following Terms of Service.

 

These are the terms everyone agrees to when signing up for service.

 

 

1. TERM AND PAYMENT FOR SERVICES

 

1.1. Term

 

This Agreement shall be for an "Initial Term" as chosen by you in the Order Form located on this Site at the time you register for the Services. This Agreement will be automatically renewed (the "Renewal Term") at the end of the Initial Term for the same period as the Initial Term unless you provide TotalChoice Hosting with notice of termination thirty (30) days prior to the end of the Initial Term or the Renewal Term.

 

What that all says is please allow us 30 days to terminate your account.

 

1.2. Termination Policy

 

If you terminate your receipt of the Services prior to the end of the Initial Term or the Renewal Term, whichever is then applicable, a. TotalChoice Hosting will not refund to you any fees paid in advance of such termination and b. you shall be required to pay 100% of TotalChoice Hosting's standard monthly charge for each month remaining in the term, unless otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you terminate your receipt of Shared Hosting Services prior to the end of the first thirty (30) days of the Initial Term, you are entitled to a refund of the fees you paid in advance for the monthly Services, not including any setup fees. Your termination request or notice must be submitted to TotalChoice Hosting in the manner described in Section 1.1. TotalChoice Hosting may terminate this Agreement at any time and for any reason by providing to you written notice thirty (30) days prior to the date of termination. If TotalChoice Hosting terminates this Agreement, TotalChoice Hosting will refund to you the pro-rata portion of prepaid fees attributable to Services (excluding setup fees) not yet rendered as of the termination date unless otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement.
