TCH-Dick Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 We are in the process of upgading the forums, so things may look funny for a bit. So please ignore the mess I'm making and enjoy the new forums. Quote
makaveli Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 wondered why i had to re-login, ive been using 2.2 for a a day on another forum i use and the upgrades are great! the profiles are trying to be a little myspace, other than that the fast reply option is much better and the include of spoiler and acronym tags are a great one, especially on a "tech" forum like this hope the upgrade goes well, i hear plugins and add on's can be a pain to reprogram Quote
LF from MC Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 I also had to log on again, and when I first came on I thought I was someplace else I like the button at top for the Smiles, better then the one on the side. There's a lot of new thing here now. Good job Quote
Steve Scrimpshire Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Dunno if this is being worked on still, but the header/links are all funky to me in both Firefox 2.0 and Opera 9.02. Screenie: http://semperphi.com/images/tch-header.gif Quote
Steve Scrimpshire Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 (edited) Hmmm. Apparently I waited too long to try and edit. It looks fine in IE6. The logo image is the same size in all 3 browsers, so that's not the issue. It's the other table cells or <divs>, or whatever it's using, that are actually smaller in the other two browsers, putting them behind the image. Edited December 8, 2006 by Steve Scrimpshire Quote

carbonize Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Any reason why the remember me option only seems to last for about 10 minutes? I log in and read the forum then close the browser. When I come back later I have to log in again. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 No clue, I never log out. But a suggestion would be to delete the cookie for the forum and let it create a new one. Quote
carbonize Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 Nope it's still logging me out after a period of time. Quote
