riksch_admin Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Ok, I run a website for my cousin's compnay, RikschBioFuels.com. He just recently setup his office building, and his "IT Guy" as he calls him, asked me to do the following (this is an exact copy past of the mail): "DNS entries that need added.... vpn.rikschbiofuels.com to IP 66.43.194.36 rb-sbs.rikschbiofuels.com to IP 66.43.194.36" So, I assume the guy is asking me to create two sub-domains, which I just did from the cPanel. But, what is he referring to about DNS and pointing those sub-domains to IP Addresses? Any ideas? I looked around the TCH account manger and could not really find any place to mess with IP addys or DNS for sub-domains. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks!! Quote
Head Guru Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 The guy wants "a" records setup on your domain. It's not a issue, just drop in a help desk ticket and we can add the records to the domains dns entries. Bill Quote
