i have now been set up and givin all my info in my email confirmation but what do i do now...i dont know what the next step is...if someone could point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it...i am sorry i am really new to computers..this is my first forum...and i just want my web page up

i still dont understand...i bought the domain name here..and is that it?? then i just go to yahoo..or something and get a host...are hosts free

The starter plan should last you a long time.

After you get the hosting you will get an e-mail with your login name and password.

Once you have your domain name, and a hosted webspace to go with it, you will need to upload (send) your files to the website so other people can see them. Using the basic functions of an FTP program is easy and many programs to do that are free!

Did you sign up to both a domain name and a hosting plan? If you did, you should be all set to upload and have your website up and running.

 

If you signed up for hosting, your email should tell you what FTP address to connect to.
