Can Anyone View This Page (uses Flash)

I've tried off and on for a week, so I seriously doubt it's them. Which leaves me. All I get is a dark blue page, and I've tried multiple internet browsing programs. I guess I have a security setting set too high, but... which one?

I can. Some of the states darken when they are hovered over.

Yup. Can see the map, and yes some change from white to blue on mouseover.

Ah, the Road Runner Select your state page. Working here with FireFox browser.

 

Have you tried to reinstall the flash plugin? You can re-install from here:

Ah, that is a different issue. I had that happen to me too. If you are trying to access the main road runner pages www.rr.com and it takes you to just a blue page, you can try a couple of things.

 

1. Clear your browser cache after trying the plug-in re-install

 

2. Call RR. They can give you a couple of alternate links to try <-- That is what I had to do with my last PC

 

I am using a new computer now and no longer have/need the altenate link or I would post it here.

 

Support phone numbers vary by state and local service provider or I would include the phone number here too.

thanks. I redownloaded flash just in case my version was outdated and I even rebooted afterward just for sport, lol. My puter is only a couple of years old, so i don't think that's the issue. I checked my internet security, and it's set to play flash and animations, etc. and there's nothing blocked for rr.com.... guess i'll give them a call!

Works good from FL. I would offer a suggestion to put something like "Please wait until page loads" in there. I almost clicked off before it fully loaded. And since there are still people who use dialup, I'm sure they probably would have long clicked off.

Steve makes a good point. The RR pages can take some time to download, even on a broadband connection.

 

When it happened to me, I had been using the pages fine previously. Then one day it was blank screen only, every time I tried. I spent some time with settings, clearing cache, etc trying to figure out what happened, even waited on a page load for 15 minutes. At the time I didn't re-install Flash though.

 

I called RR, they gave me 2 links to try and the 2nd one worked. I still do not remember what the link was but it was maddening that it worked with the new link and didn't without.

It said "Done" at the bottom, so I presumed... lol....

 

A friend found this page for me.... and it then gave me a choice for my state, city, etc. I was able to get on from there.

Thanks everyone for the help! I thought I'd post the link in case anyone else ever has the problem.

 

It's maddening, though, because you do have to have an exact link. I think they have so many of their pages set to redirect to the page that wouldn't ever load for me, so I kept ending up there, no matter what I typed in.

Glad to see it finally worked. You should be able to now try some of those old links that did not work before. Once you select your state, etc. there is a cookie used to send you to the right pages...

That's good information to know! That explains why I could access it fine for the longest time, and then suddenly one day I could not. My cookies must have expired. I sent them a message telling them of my issue, and suggested that they put the link that does work as an alternate for those who can't see that page. We'll see if it helps!
