TCH-JimE Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Hi, Glad you found what you where looking for. I hope to see you as part of the family soon. Do you have any more questions? Jim Quote
Guest Guest_aaron Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Yeah I do... Brief synopsis first: I just purchased a new domain name and hosting package on Monday from affordablehost.com who said they were great w/ customer service, but so far I haven't seen any of it. I'm strongly considering switching to your company. (I'll leave out the rest of my frustrations...) Anyways, here the question: If I transfer my domain name to you guys, will the $10.95 extend the time I own the domain name by one year or will it just be one year from when I transfer it to you. TCH-JimE Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 (edited) Hi Arron, Intresting, I do not honestly know. I would hazard a guess but I don't want too as it could be wrong. Bill should be able to give you more details. You could of course, if you can access it, change the name servers on the domain name. You can then point them to our name servers with your new account meaning you dont have to transfer your domain name Jim Edited June 6, 2003 by Jimuni Quote
SEO Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 If I transfer my domain name to you guys, will the $10.95 extend the time I own the domain name by one year or will it just be one year from when I transfer it to you. It will extend it one year from the original expiration date (e.g. you bought one year originally, you transfer here and now you will have two years ). We look forward to you joingin our family Quote
TCH-Rick Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 DO be aware that some registrars will not allow a transfer the first 60 days after registering a domain. You can still have the domain point to an account here. Give us the domain name and we can see how it might work. Quote
