OK, is there anyway I can get MySQL on my server upgraded to atleast 4.1. According to my cpanel I am on server60. It is very cumbersome to not be able to write subqueries

If it is allowed, the fastest way would be to open a help desk ticket to Support. The support staff doesn't always frequent the forums, so the fastest way to find out if this is possible on your server is to open a Help Desk ticket. (The link to the help desk is at the top of this page).

Oh, and by the way, I haven't taken an opportunity to welcome you to the forums. (Even though others have welcomed you in a different forum.) Welcome! Glad you are part of the TCH Family!!

Hi,

MySQL 4.0 is still the current production release at this time. Once everything is stable in more recent versions, all servers will be changed.

From what I understand, MySQL 4.1 is also a "production release", but there are some significant differences between 4.0 and 4.1 that would cause a lot of scripts to break if MySQL was upgraded to 4.1 without warning.

Yes MySQL 4.1 is a production release. Converting the queries to non-subqueries is going to take me hours and some I'm not entirely sure on how to do it.

Any suggestions and/or tips?
