So one of MySQL databases is having problems when I try to connect to it. When I do a check I get this... Yes MySQL 4.1 is a production release. Converting the queries to non-subqueries is going to take me hours and some I'm not entirely sure on how to do it. Any suggestions and/or tips?

OK, is there anyway I can get MySQL on my server upgraded to atleast 4.1. According to my cpanel I am on server60. It is very cumbersome to not be able to write subqueries

Ahha! That worked. So I need to give access to the machines I want to access the database with? I see makes sense.

Is this possible? I tried setting a ODBC connection from my pc to the database on my site and got an user access denied....suggestions?
