kellybellydotnet Posted December 7, 2002 Posted December 7, 2002 I'm new to the ***** family; My account was activated a week ago, and I just received the e-mail this morning that my domain name transfer has completed. So I'm aware that the new DNS information has not propagated yet. The domain I transferred is kellybelly.net, yet when I log into my Cpanel, at the top it states Welcome kellybelly.com. This is echoed throughout all my settings, such at my e-mail and ftp accounts. My question is, will this change to the correct domain once the information propagates, or does something need to be done to change it? Or is this how it's supposed to be? Quote

Besides that, when I do a whois I get something different: Domain Name: KELLYBELLY.NET Created on: 03-Jul-02 Expires on: 03-Jul-04 Last Updated on: 07-Dec-02 Domain servers in listed order: NS5.***** NS6.***** Though the name servers listed in your post are correct for .net before I transferred to *****. Which I know may not be updated yet. I'm worried that this incorret domain issue will affect my site, most importantly, receiving e-mail. And thank you! Quote
httpboy Posted December 7, 2002 Posted December 7, 2002 Ok, I have made the change to the correct site. This will propagate instantly on our server. This is our mistake and sorry about that. When we provisioned your account is was setup as .com. It is all set now. Please check your cpanel and post back to let me know. Quote
