Just bought the Silver Plan and I'm waiting for my Domain OnlineAutorama.com to transfer over which i hope is done quickly. While i'm waiting i'm trying to do some research. - Is there a way to change the User Name that was given to me when i signed up? - Researching FTP uploading i didnt see anything about just using IE6 for a simple upload or change of file. Can IE be used? - I'm going to be using vBulletin 3.x.x Is there anything that needs to be prepared for or anything i need to change or setup in the cPanel Manager? (this will be a new setup for me) - I'm going to be providing a site for people with custom vehicles can come to for Questions, Meets or to Post Pictures and Videos. Can you think of or have any other suggestions on anything else that i can supply for these people that your hosting services support? - If bandwidth becomes a problem for me, how easy is it for Plan Upgrades and how long does it take? Well,... that's about all that i can think of right now. it's 11:40pm right now and i feel i'm going in circles until the domain gets transfered from where i registered it at. Oh BTW,... from the Welcome email if i read it correctly all i needed to do was to tell the place where i registered the domain at was the new hosting location of the domain being DNS3.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM and DNS4.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM right? (this will be a new setup for me) I have not used vBulletin but you might have to create a database and user for it in cPanel. The instructions for it should tell you. I want to offer some folks the ability to become a member using some sort of software that will let them create their own basic website like editing pages and uploading pictures only but they would still be listed under my onlineautorama.com address. This link isnt my website but i got the idea while research ideas for mine. http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages That's a place where people can go and sign up then they can create their own website. I'd love to beable to offer this. Whats the basic's on offering such a service? I've seen Auction software out there for people who have Websites but i'm not sure what this type of thing would be called, would someone have to do some programing for me or what? A word of warning though (and the reason I would never a script for such things). If you allow anyone permission to upload things, someone could upload (for example) hack code for some Microsoft product. As soon as we became aware of this, we would suspend your site because such things would be against our TOS and AUP. The balance of risk is your decision. Quote

Not sure i fully understand. The only thing i would allow would be images such as JPG, GIF, BMP ect... I created an account there at the link i'm suggesting to better understand how its done, It looks like it's mostly a Template where the members just fill in the blanks. There is an option to Upload Photos, then in the area where the member is writing information they would type in <IMG #28 R> for Image 28 to be Right Justified or <IMG #28 L> for Left Justified and <IMG #28 C> for Image 28 to be centered. Then the member clicks submit and it's created. I was Very Surprised at just how easy it was to create. I'd even say that I think Anyone would beable to do this without Any knowledge of Web creating at all. I'm willing to pay for such a script,... It's just Finding one that is the problem. While doing my research i've noticed theres a lot of Dating Service Scripts out there that kinda look like a Personal Webpage. Maybe i can transform one of these in to what i'm looking for?
