Paying With Paypal

I'm attempting to register a domain and hosting with TCH, but when I say pay with paypal, it asks me to add a credit card to my account. I have the money in my paypal account already which I transfered from a bank account, but I do not have a credit card. Please tell me I don't need a credit card and I just can't find what I should be looking for

Domain Registration or Hosting Account purchase?

 

I do believe you must have a CC attached to your account in order to purchase a domain name using paypal. This is part of the registrar's requirements.

 

However, when purchasing a hosting account you will not to have a CC attached to your paypal account.

Another question. I just paid with paypal. Does using ECheck mean that the money comes from my bank account, or is it paid with the money i already have in my paypal?

E-Check means it will come out of your checking account.

Okay, so will it wait until the money is there? I transfered all the money I needed into my paypal account, so I now have to transfer it all back

I'm also a little confused by this also. So even if there is money in my paypal account, is the waiting period until the check clears? or is there an option to have instant setup within 6-12 hrs ? Seems odd that it can't be approved quicker if you do have the funds in the paypal account.

If you pay with paypal using instant payment then your account will be setup within the 6-12 hours.

 

If your paying with e-check your account setup could be delayed 3 - 5 days as paypal will not release the funds until the check has cleared your bank.

I didn't even see an option on paying directly with paypal. it just said e-check

You should have been presented with a "payment options" link during checkout with paypal. It is a small link under the amount being paid. This is the link I have always used to change payment options.

 

Maybe you missed it, but just in case not I have added this to my to-do list and will check it out today to make sure this is not an error on our end.

 

Will report back with my finding.

Umm... paypal attempted to take the money out of my bank account before the money was there, and I was charged a 35 dollar service charge. Was this done by TCH or paypal?

We have zero control over your paypal account.

 

You would need to contact paypal about your paypal account.
