K_M Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 I have bought a domain and the control panel of domain shows: Name server1: ns1.totalchoicehosting.com Name server2: ns2.totalchoicehosting.com Name server3: dns1.hosthat.com Name server4: dns2.hosthat.com I have changed the first two name servers to point to TCH. What should I do will the name server3 and name server 4? Should I delete those two entries, previously present? Or should I add some other name server of TCH? How many nameservers are required for one domain, so that my website becomes accessible? Quote
leezard Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 my previous host had 4 dns names, when i switched to TCH I deleted the names for 3 and 4 and added TCH's domain name servers as the 1st 2 hope that makes sense Quote
