HCSuperStores Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I was just diagnosed with this disease and I thought it best to spread the word ... because you may have it too. Maybe not now, but probably in the future. I'm sorry to be the one to break the bad news ... MAIDS: "Mobile and Internet Dependency Syndrome". Read about it HERE Bill H Quote
TCH-Dick Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Looks like we all have that.... I have turned around 15 miles from the house to go back for my cell phone. Quote
jslagle Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Looks like we all have that.... I have turned around 15 miles from the house to go back for my cell phone. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's an easy problem to solve, just get another phone to leave in the car. Disclosure Statement: My day job is with a cellular phone company and I won't rest until everyone has at least 2 phones Quote

DaemonLee Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 I leave the computer for a day, and I start getting the shakes. My hand twitches to be more percise. Cellphone cannot forget. (I'm a 24/7 tech.) Internet, I have five spare accounts. NoCharge, Juno, alot of small companies in the area also. All freebies. 2 spare DSL PCI cards, one spare 56k modem. One external modem. One APC 650VA backup power, incase the power goes out. Enough time for me to run and flip on the power filterer and the Generator. Now, that's MAIDS! Come on! Quote
mrkablooey Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 I think I may have found my support system. I love you guys. Quote
DarqFlare Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Let's see here... Motorola V220 camera phone that goes with me wherever I am, and goes on vibrate mode if it must... Desktop computer at home where I spend most of my time... Laptop computer that syncs documents to desktop that I take with me most places... Yeah. I'm afflicted. Quote
