Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the Gulf of Mexico, Ivan has reared his ugly head yet again! Yes, it's the storm that will never die! :) (Sounds like a good script for a movie!) Ivan's back, although it is a tropical depression and forcasters say that it shouldn't get much more than that. So get ready for some soggy weather Houston! You can have him! :P

Yup...posted yesterday on the original IVAN thread that Ivan had stormed across central Florida with gusty winds while treking back to the Gulf. At the time our meteoroligists warned that the storm could reintensify and become the first storm in history to hit twice.

I found on one major hurricane tracking sites says the storm just hit you folks, then just backed down into the gulf again instead of running up through Tennessee and WV and back to the atlantic as it really did. If you can't trust them to show where a storm has already been, how can we trust them to predict/track new storms???

Ivan is terrible, even as a depression. :)

Sometimes it is nice to be in Arizona. :)

Woot. Fellow Arizonian.

Well, I'm actually in Pennsylvania right now (college), so we felt the effects.

Record rains... and insane winds. My backpack was soaked through by the end of the day.
