jandafields Posted July 17, 2004 Posted July 17, 2004 In cpanel, I can see the server load is usually between 0.4 and 1.50 On the tchstatus page, the servers are usually below 500.0 Why are the numbers on tchstatus so much higher than in cpanel? And, what is considered good? Quote
TCH-Dick Posted July 17, 2004 Posted July 17, 2004 Anything below 1.0 is good, during peak times 3.0-5.0 is OK, anything over that any time and we start looking into whats causing it to increase. the loads on tchstatus are just displayed differently, if I recall correctly divide the load by 100 and it should give you a number like the one in cpanel. keep in mind the graphs on tchstatus.com are not real time. jandafields Posted July 17, 2004 Author Posted July 17, 2004 That makes sense, thanks! One more question: Why are there three numbers here (see below)? >Load Averages 1.01 0.52 0.40 Quote
Head Guru Posted July 17, 2004 Posted July 17, 2004 These are averages based over a period of time. 1 minutes 10 minutes 15 minutes Bill Quote
