RickB Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Hi, Any recommendations for a simple to use, good and cheap password manager? Thanks, Rick Quote
borfast Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Hi Rick. Unfortunately I can't help you with your question, since I don't use password managers. I did move your post to a more appropriate forum, though, so there's more probability that someone will see it and answer Quote
TCH-Don Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 There is a link to Anypassword in the help site under freebies, secure and flexiable and FREE! A great way to keep web site pass words and links Quote
Venusian31 Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 I use the Anypassword program that Don mentioned and it works great! I highly recommend it. Quote
Deverill Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 For a bit of variety, here's another one called Darn! Passwords! It's $15 or $25 for the pro and works well. Try the free trial if interested. It is owned by a company named Thornsoft which makes Clipmate that I use ALL the time. One nice thing is that you can drag and drop passwords to the programs that ask for them. It also will make up passwords and other nice things and is fully encrypted. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 If you wanna spend some money (sorry, I dont know how much right now) I can recommend Norton Password Manager. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 I use Anypassword that Don recommends and like it. Quote
jandafields Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 I've always used a notepad text file and then compressed with a password into RAR format. I like to live on the cutting edge ot technology, you know Quote
