TCH-Thomas Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 There was some phenomenon in space today with planet Venus. Did anyone see it? Sweden was cloudy at the time so i missed it. Quote
Virtual Imager Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 The planet Venus crossed in front of the sun (or was it the moon) today. All the New Agers were out soaking up the energy. Quote
bellringr Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 The planet Venus crossed in front of the sun (or was it the moon) Now THAT would be quite a phenomenon! I don't think I want to be around if Venus crosses in front of the moon! Quote
Virtual Imager Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 LOL Yeah... that would be pretty scary. I'm having a bad day here on the forum! Yuck! Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 LOL Yeah... that would be pretty scary. I'm having a bad day here on the forum! Yuck! Must be the heat! Quote
Deverill Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 You scared me - I thought for a second the Day After Tomorrow was real! Sheesh, imagine Venus sucking most of our atmosphere out to space as it blows past - gravitational pull messing up everything from tides to volcanos. Eeeesh! At least it wouldn't hurt for long! It's so cool that today we can watch Quicktime movies of the event from anywhere on the planet and not even go blind doing it! www.vt-2004.org/central/cd-videos/ Quote
