James Posted March 11, 2003 Posted March 11, 2003 I would like to turn off anonymous FTP, and I unchecked both the boxes in cPanel which allow it. Is there something else I'm supposed to do? Also when anonymously logging on, folders with names such as bin, etc, lib, mail, and pub appear. Is that supposed to happen? Thanks for your help! James Quote
Lianna Posted March 12, 2003 Posted March 12, 2003 Hmmm. No, that is not supposed to happen. Can you please submit a helpdesk ticket about this? Thanks. Lianna Quote
Head Guru Posted March 13, 2003 Posted March 13, 2003 Remember true anon FTP is not gonna happen using any virtual plan. You would need a dedicated IP and even then we would have to make certain changes to your server to allow this. Anon FTP is just not there for the virtual accounts. It may show in your cpanel but it can never work. Quote
