Next Time Your At The Drive Thru...

Next time your at a drive thru at Burger King or whatever and there is a Police Officer behind you in line. Pick up the tab for his or her lunch. They are really special people and it will be a great jesture.

 

I did this a couple weeks ago for a Deputy in line behind me at Dairy Queen drive thru and I still think about it. It was only $6.00 or so but I think it made his day and I know it made my day. I smile every time I think about how he felt when a perfect stranger he had never met or seen before picked up the tab on his lunch.

When I used to work for taco bell (ages ago) if there was a cop in line, in uniform/squad car, we would provide them free meals

I say up the ante a bit, though, and include EMTs and soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines in that list.
