Does anyone happen to know if there is a way to print a pdf from a website without actually displaying the file? I hope the question makes sense and that I have asked in the right spot. TIA a viable alternative would be to disable the "Saving" of the file... but I don't know how to do that either.

This has me stumped for many days. I'm pretty sure I've seen this but I don't remember where and I can't seem to get my head around it enough to figure it out. I would like to offer specific visitors the ability upon arriving at the site, enter a specific filename in a form field, click go and be taken straight there to that specific file. eg: go to h**p://****/some_folder/specificfile.html but all the visitor would type in is 'specificfile' I probably haven't posed this query very well and I apologize. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You can always instruct to use the "Right-click>>Save (target) as.... There is also a cool little program that will automatically display the names of the files and give you option to listen or download. Audio files don't compress as you might imagine. Don't be suprised if all you see is something like 60mb down to 59mb : a 1mb difference.
