It seems as though you might have a FireFox extension that is adding things to the file...not on the server end, but as it is downloaded to your computer. You've identified that the problem is not happening with IE. Perhaps when you notice the problem occurring, you could have someone else check with FireFox to see if they notice the problem. In the meantime, you might try selectively uninstalling some of your FireFox extensions to see if you notice a difference.

Not sure if any of you signed up for Google spreadsheets. I did, but never received an e-mail "inviting" me to test it out. But, for the heck of it, I tried spreadsheet.google.com and got in with no problem (I already have a Google account). So, if you've been waiting to try it, you may want to see if you already have access.

I'm using it now. I generally like it, as it is fairly unobtrusive. However, my complaint is that EVERY time I start my browser, it performs a synchronization. It would be nice to be able to control the sync schedule (once a day would be adequate for me).

I take it back...the new version of MeetingMaker DOES let me import/export ICAL! That's a nice relief. There were some flaws in going from one to the other, but nothing major.

Unfortunately, no, what we officially use at work does not seem to get along with the ICAL format. We have just updated MeetingMaker, though, so maybe it includes the ability to work with ICAL.

I was trying to find a good way to set up some shared calendars...one for my wife's work, one for my work, and one "family" calendar. Tried Sunbird and kind of liked it, but Google has quickly replaced it. The interface is very intuitive, and drag-and-drop-ability is very smooth. I wish I could find a good way to import/export, since the place I work uses MeetingMaker, and they really wish I were using it too.
