  1. I could be wrong here, but doesn't XAMPP Lite, only have PHP 5.0.4? Some scripts will only work with PHP 4 Greg
  2. Thanks Jim, Hope your mother is ok. Myself, after seeing what the effects are, I wish I would of known those 3 "simple" steps. I see as of this posting, 74 reads, that means at least 74 more folks know what to do. And hopefully have past it on to others. Greg
  3. Received this from a friend this morning by way of an email. Could help us save someones life. RECOGNIZING A STROKE A true story: Susie stumbled and fell. Her friend, Sherry, saw this happen. Being very concerned, she had the insight to ask Susie the 3 questions below. Suzie failed all three test-questions, so 911 was called. Even though she had normal blood pressure readings and did not appear to be suffering a stroke (she could converse to some extent with the Paramedics) they took her to the hospital right away. Susie suffered brain damage after a massive stroke, but is recouping at an incredible pace. So simple - this literally saved Susie's life - Some angel had previously sent this advice to Suzie's friend and she followed it exactly. Read and Learn the 3 steps! A stroke occurs when oxygen fails to reach some part of the brain. Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim will ( - WILL! -) suffer brain damage if people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke, and take action. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking the victim three simple questions: *Ask the individual to SMILE. *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS. *Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE coherently (e.g. "It is sunny out today"). If he or she has trouble with ANY of these tasks, call 911 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher. After discovering that a group of non-medical volunteers could identify facial weakness/arm weakness/and speech problems, researchers now urge the general public to learn the three questions. They presented their conclusions at the American Stroke Association's annual meeting last February. Widespread use of this test could result in prompt diagnosis and treatment of the stroke and prevent brain damage. ---------------------- Greg
  4. I just checked my page again and now it's not there. But we are all on server 60 ?
  5. That's odd I'm also on server 60 But I don't have a site up at the moment just a html page. I'll go take a look. The random part does seem odd. Greg ok just checked and I've got it too. ><script language=JavaScript src=/kslljmr.js></script> <html> <head> <title>ontalkradio.com</title> </head> <body> ontalkradio.com </body> </html>
  6. I see at http://blackcat.bloggy.biz/ there is now a gvspmjf.js at the top of the page. But it comes up 404. I'm not getting any warnings from Norton. I'm using Firefox. Have you asked the users what browser they are using? And just maybe that code is being added to your database. Have you taken a look there? Just ideas, I'm by far no expert on this stuff. Greg
  7. I haven't used phpbb in awhile. But one of the first things you could do is change your admin. password. Greg
  8. New Study Finds Oil Company Profiteering Behind Gasoline Price Spikes Complete article HERE Greg
  9. Proof that there is a "BigFoot" Greg
  10. 0.312 and I thought I was quick. Think I'll try earlier in the day. Greg
  11. Samrc I'm in San Jose California. Went by the same station today and the price hadn"t changed since yesterday (small miracle) $3.02 regular. Thing is the price of everything will rise. Almost all items delivered to stores are shipped by truck. Time to get the cobwebs off the bike. (price of beer hasn't gone up yet. Greg
  12. $3.02 here yesterday. Up a dime from the day before. What really makes me angry is that these stations have already paid a certain price for the gas in their underground tanks. So how can they raise the price up until they receive their next shipment of gas? Greg
  13. I've played around with Limbo quite a bit and really wanted to use it. However I found it has quite a few bugs in it. Also there is a lack of modules, components and limbots. And I didn't find the community there all that great, (just my feeling) But it you want it to just post news or articles it may suit your needs. Greg
  14. I just noticed that TCH Steve is into Ham Radio. My dad was into it for almost 40 years. So I got to thinking and went to qrz.org and looked up his call sign and sure enough it expired 2 days ago. Kind of a sad thing to see (he passed away last year) What were the chances that I would look that up so close to the expiration date? Anyhow I just see such a strong comparison between the 2 (ham radio and Internet) My dad would set for hours on end in front of his radio and now I'm doing the same thing here in front of my PC. Communicating with people from all around the world. I tried to get him involved with the internet but he said he was too old. In memory of dad and WB6WDO Or as he would say- whiskey baker six whiskey dog ocean /or/ whiskey baker six will drink often If I had a nickle for every time I heard that. Thanks for listening, just brings back a lot of good memories. Greg
  15. Thanks Bruce, Simple enough. Greg
  16. Good Day folks, Is there anything I have to do to switch from NeoMail to Horde? It's not really that important at this time as I don't have a live site up. But I should set up an account. Thanks, Greg
  17. I do the same as Jim. Then also forward those to one AOL email addy.
  18. I guess if they all went by the name Jack, that would make them "Cracker Jacks" (sorry couldn't resist) Greg
  19. Instead of taking down a site, whatever you may want to call them. Why not an email to the sites admin, and let them know we found this problem To say they're doing important work ????? In the case of Xoops. At any one time there are at least 100 folks online at their site. Now for the next few days we can't get into the forums or whatever part of the site we wish to. So again if they're truly such good folks, why not an email to the webmaster and let them know, instead of taking down a site. (unless I'm missing something) Crackers hackers or whatever you may what to call them. Greg
  20. This may or not be related to that article. But I just don't get what the thrill is of these hackers. It's like a contest to them. Their knowledge seems to me could be spent on creating instead of destroying. As a side note Xoops just got hacked yesterday morning. Greg
  21. Count me in.
  22. I have a folder that is at www.mysite.com/whatever If I want to move all the contents of /whatever to my main (root) site www.mysite.com so that will now be my main entry to my site, is there anything special that I have to do? Also considering that their is a database involved with the /whatever folder? Hope that was clearer then mud. Greg
  23. Well I'm completely confused then on what your trying to do. Why not just install two boards in seperate folders? If you only want to test out different mods. I best just keep quiet, seems like the others understand what you want better then me. greg
  24. May be of some help. http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article.php?article_id=55 greg
